Truman Scholarship

Penn juniors and second-year students are invited to attend in-person events sponsored by Penn’s Center for Undergraduate Research and Fellowships (CURF) to learn about the Truman Scholarship. This opportunity requires Penn’s nomination and awards $30,000 in scholarships to support graduate study for activist “change agents” who plan to pursue public service careers. Recipients may use the funds for a graduate program in fields such as Public Administration, Public Health, Social Work, Education, Public Policy, International Affairs, Law, or related areas. Applicants (who must be US citizens) apply for the Truman Scholarship in the fall of their junior year by Penn’s internal deadline of November 14, 2022 at 4:00 pm. Contact Dr. Angie Estévez for more information.
