As we move into the Labor Day weekend, it’s worth reflecting on the Labor Movement, the American worker, and the history of both labor organizations and conflict over fair wages and working conditions. Labor Day is also, traditionally, the last day of summer and an opportunity to eat food together, both to mark the passing of the vacation season and to anticipate the cooler Fall season to come.

Come join us in the LCH Courtyard to do both of these things on Monday, September 6, at 1.30pm. There will be (a limited number of) cheesesteaks, and also some information boards and thought- stimulators about the history of the American worker and the Labor Movement across the world.
