StRoll With Me: Scott Filkin/Penn and its Neighborhood

What:

The University of Pennsylvania moved to its current site in 1872, and has been a highly influential source of income, revenue, and employment ever since. Its relationship with its neighbors has been both cordial and contested, characterized by both partnership and conflict.

In honor of Banned Books week, we welcome Visiting Storyteller, Scott Filkin, to our community this week. Join him for a stroll through Penn's immediate neighborhood and a conversation about the interactions between the acts and initiatives that our institution has undertaken, on the one hand, and the experiences and perceptions that our neighbors had had, on the other.

Meet outside the front of LCH at 5.00 for a 5.15 departure!

When:

Friday September 23rd, 2022 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM
